Navy glitter Nails tutorial! | Using Barry M 'Navy' and 'Rose Quartz'

Evening everyone! I thought I would squeeze in a quick little postie this evening and I decided to show you my current nails and exactly how I got them like this. I use the Barry M nail paints about 95% of the time purely because they are really great value for money, £2.99! Also because they are really amazing quality, and have the best selection of shades and effects and all sorts! If you haven't checked it out already I highly suggest you check them out here!

SO you will need the following...

 So now that you know what you need we can get started!

STEP 1: PAINT YOUR NAILS WITH THE CLEAR BASE COAT

This step is really quick and simple, you don't have to be too perfect you just do a quick coat to protect your nails and to stop any colour staining the nails. The best thing about this base coat by Barry M is that it dries super quickly (like 30 seconds to 1 minute!). So once you've done that to both sides you can carry on to the next step!

STEP 2: PAINT ALL YOUR NAILS NAVY

So this next step is super important.  Paint your nails all over with an even coat of navy. I found that a couple of nice coats of this Barry M polish did the job well. Wait for this to dry before you  move on, it should be completely dry so that when you move onto the next step it doesn't smudge.

STEP 3: APPLY A THIN COAT OF AMETHYST GLITTER.

So this is the step where your nails really get some shebang. The trick here is not to apply too much or too thick because it will kill the look, go for a nice thin, even layer with the Amethyst glitter. This takes the longest to dry so I recommend you leave this 5 minutes before applying a top coat, then your done!

And that is it! The end result  is these really cool, almost galaxy style nails which reflect the light amazingly and they honestly look so cool! The amount of compliments I've had because of these nails, it is most certainly my current favorite nail look.
